So...I am such a slacker! Why do all my posts start like that? Anne! I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you! I am very jealous of your Australian weather and wish I were there instead of the coldness that is New York!

Kenna told me that it was unacceptable that I haven't posted in so long and I agree! I will get better someday! I swear!

But get this...I have been knitting! Me! Knitting! The people at work make fun of me (OC- you're reading this and laughing- I can hear you from my desk!) cause I get yarn and ball winders delivered to work. But it's all good....cause I have been knitting!

I did some stuff for "Cloths for Katrina" and then I got adventurous. I finally completed Ruffles. You know- me and Ruffles have clearly had a love/hate relationship since I started knitting. I now love Ruffles. I finished her (pics will be added later).

So I was so inspired, I decided I would knit scarves for Christmas...15 scarves to be exact. I bought ALL the yarn (got it delivered to work) and I was ready to go! Well...then I came to my senses. I said "For real Danielle! What in the Sam Hill are you thinking??? You have only finished one scarf and that took you nearly 2 months. Do you really think that you're going to get 15 done by Christmas?" The answer is No. HELL NO!

So next year people! Next year you will get scarves for Christmas.

Other fun news- I taught Kenna (sister) over Thanksgiving. We were all in Michigan and she got the bug (she lives in Arizona and I'm sure it's very hard to get the bug when it's hot and humid) so now she's addicted! Good times!

OK...now this is the time in our program for empty promises:

I promise to be better at blogging! I promise! And I will finish my scarves! For real yo!

Side note: Who knows what the difference is between an EN dash; EM dash; and hyphen? More importantly, WHO CARES? Yeah...nobody! So why has that been one of my recent work nightmares? Seriously...I have nightmares about dashes!
